Audience members will travel back to the legendary, story-telling days of ancient China with this action-packed stage adaptation of the 1998 Disney animated film "Mulan," which was based on the story "Fa Mulan" by Robert D. San Souci.  "Disney's Mulan Junior" tells the story of Mulan who is under pressure to impress the Matchmaker. When she fails and dishonors her family, she reflects on her purpose in life.  Meanwhile the Huns have invaded China and misfit Mulan decides it is up to her to regain her family's honor.  She secretly takes the place of her father, Fa Zhou, in the Chinese army and trains with Captain Shang and other Chinese soldiers. Mulan, with the help of her mischievous sidekick Mushu defeats the Hun Leader, Shan-yu and saves the Emperor.

The show sends a great message of self confidence and the importance of family and is a heartwarming celebration of culture, honor and a fighting spirit, and shows that you can do anything you want if you put your mind to it.  The score includes favorites like Reflection, Honor to Us All, and I'll Make a Man Out of You, as well as new songs that will bring the audience to its feet. Rated G.
