There is nothing like the thrill of live theatre in the charged minutes before a performance begins. The lights dim, a hush falls over the crowd, the curtain rises, and the audience prepares to be entertained and enlightened. It is a magical moment, full of excitement and possibility.

For several years The Rosewater Theatre has held audiences young and old in rapt attention with its eclectic, quality productions. After months of renovation and organization, The Rosewater Theatre opened its doors to their new location in February of 2008 and started its unique venture bringing its outstanding repertoire of pathos, parody and show-stopping musicals to the North Fulton area.

The Rosewater Theatre has worked towards bringing new, vibrant entertainment to Roswell and becoming a welcome addition to boosting the economic development and contribute to the city's charming appeal. Located in the heart of Roswell, the theatre will work to become one of the cultural cornerstones of the city's artistic scene.

The theatre has undergone some major cosmetic renovations and has a beautiful lobby which has charming ambience and appeal. The theatre houses two stages, the Cabaret Stage, which is a proscenium stage and the Rendezvous Stage, which is a theatre in the round. The Rosewater Theatre plans on offering between 10 and 15 shows per year on both stages, a full children's drama department, summer drama camps and numerous acting and dance classes. The theatre is also available for rent for special occasions, seminars and gatherings depending on availability.

The Rosewater Theatre is not a not for profit theatre and operates solely on ticket sales. We do not receive any support, grants or assistance from the government or from tax payers. However, from time to time individuals and businesses are extremely kind enough to show their support and sponsor our theatre and we are deeply grateful, especially during these tough economic times. Please be sure to let your friends and family know about our theatre and tell them to come out and enjoy a professional quality show. Thank you for your support.

The Rosewater Theatre believes in giving back to the local community and donates to numerous charities annually. The United Way of Forsyth County has been a recipient in past years and they were thrilled to add North Fulton Community Charities to the list in 2008.
